Only travellers who agree to all the provisions in this statement can apply for a Canadian eTA. If you are filling in the application form on behalf of someone else, read this declaration to them in full, then indicate in the form whether they all agree.

e-Visa.co.uk passes the data entered in the application form to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), which determines whether travellers are admissible to Canadian territory based on the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canada (IRPA). The IRCC may then transfer this data to other Canadian government agencies, including the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), as well as provincial, territorial and foreign governments. This is in accordance with section 8.2 of the Privacy Act of Canada. Data may also be transferred to, or validated by, foreign law enforcement and immigration detention authorities, provided it does not endanger the travellers or their families. Data may also be systematically validated by other Canadian government agencies to verify the travellers status and identity.

Any biometric data provided to the IRCC will be stored and shared with the RCMP. In accordance with Article 13.11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations of Canada, fingerprints may also be shared with law enforcement agencies in Canada. This data may be used to establish or verify a traveller’s identity, to prevent or investigate a crime, or to prosecute a traveller under Canadian or provincial law. It may also be used to establish or verify the identity of travellers whose physical or mental condition does not allow this to be done by other means. It may also be shared with foreign governments with which the Canadian government has an agreement or arrangement.

Any data entered into the application form may be stored in one or more of the Government of Canada’s Personal Information Banks (PIBs), in accordance with Section 10.1 of the Canadian Privacy Act. Under the Access to Information Act of Canada, individuals have the right to access personal data stored in a PIB. I hereby certify that all travellers named on this application form have confirmed that all information provided is true, complete and correct to the best of their knowledge. Misrepresentation constitutes a violation of Section 127 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and may result in the traveller(s) being banned from entering the country or deported. I also certify that all travellers have fully understood and agreed to the above information.
