Explanation on the Cuba visa

Are you going on a holiday to Cuba in 2024 or 2025? Do not forget that you will first need a visa. The visa requirement applies to all citizens of the European Union, and to people from the United Kingdom. Even underage children must possess their own Cuba visa. You can apply for tourist visas online using the digital application form on this website.

What is the Cuba visa? The Cuba visa is a paper card, which consists of two parts. On both the left and the right part you fill in your nationality, first name, last name, date of birth and passport number. After arriving in Cuba, one part of the visa must be handed in at customs. You hand in the other part when leaving the country. It is therefore advised to keep the visa with your passport in your hand luggage during your trip. Do not stick the visa in your passport, but keep it separate.

Attention Cuba visa

You do not need to visit the consulate for your visas
By submitting your application online, you save yourself a round trip to the Cuban embassy. The online application procedure also allows you to apply for a visa for someone else. When acquiring a visa through the embassy, you pay a surcharge of £25 per person. If you make use of the online form on this website, you will avoid this surcharge.

Validity duration and requirements

The tourist visa is valid for a stay in Cuba of up to 90 days. The validity term starts from the moment you arrive in Cuba. If you want to stay for a longer period, you can extend the maximum length of stay to 180 days. To do so, visit an immigration office in Cuba. You can apply for the visa as long before departure as you want, since there is no expiry date on the visa. However, keep in mind that your passport must still be valid for seven months upon arrival.

Requirements of the Cuba tourist visa:

  1. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months at the time you leave Cuba
  2. You cannot work in Cuba with the tourist visa
  3. Minors need their own visa

e-Visa.co.uk is a commercial and professional visa agency, and supports travellers in obtaining, among others, the Cuba visa. e-Visa.co.uk is an official partner of the International Air Transport Association, IATA, with membership number 57231226, acts as an intermediary, is no law firm, nor does it employ lawyers, does not provide legal advice, and is in no way part of any government. You can also apply for a visa directly with the immigration service (21 EUR per visa). However, not with our level of support. If you submit your application via e-Visa.co.uk, our support centre is available to you 24/7. We also check your application before submitting it to the immigration authorities on your behalf. If we suspect any errors or omissions while doing so, we will personally contact you to ensure that your application can still be processed quickly and correctly. To use our services, you pay us 21 EUR in consular fees, which we pay to the immigration service on your behalf, as well as £27.52 in service fees as compensation for our services, including VAT.
