Are you planning to travel to Cambodia? If you meet all the set requirements, you can apply for the Cambodia visa online for a stay of up to 30 days. If you have submitted an online application elsewhere, then this one needs to be completed first. Until that moment, you can only apply for a different type of visa.
Applying for the Cambodia visa online
Travellers from European countries, such as the United Kingdom and Ireland, need a visa for their trip to Cambodia. With the Cambodia e-visa, they can easily meet this visa requirement. Travellers who are eligible for this electronic visa for Cambodia can easily submit their visa application through this website. If a traveller can apply for the visa online, it depends on their nationality, among others. Generally, travellers from European countries are eligible for the Cambodia e-visa. However, they do need to meet all the other requirements for an online application.
Other Cambodia visas through the Cambodia Embassy in London
The electronic visa for Cambodia is suitable for a single trip to the country with a stay of up to 30 days. If you want to stay in Cambodia longer than 30 consecutive days, the e-visa is not sufficient, and you will need another type of visa. That visa cannot be applied for online. In this case, British and Irish citizens need to submit their applications at the Cambodian Embassy in London. This is also required if you do not meet all the requirements for the online visa.
Previous visa application still being processed?
You cannot submit a new or second visa application for Cambodia if a previous application is still being processed. In the online form you use to submit your application through this website, you can always find the following question: “Is another visa application being processed for this traveller, regardless of where it was submitted?” If you have to answer this question with “yes”, it is not possible to submit a second application for the same traveller through this website. In this case, you need to finalise your application on the website where you started it. For any questions about that application, you can therefore only contact that party.
Refund in case visa application cannot be processed
If you were not aware that you had an application pending elsewhere and therefore answered “No” to the aforementioned question about it anyway, you will receive an error message after your attempt to submit the application. This reads as follows: "Departmental systems indicate that there was already an ongoing visa application through another website".
As long as there is still a pending application through another website, the visa specialists at e-Visa.co.uk cannot process your new application. In addition, e-Visa.co.uk can also offer no help or answer questions in regard to the previous application. It does not matter if the other unfinished application was paid or not. If you receive the aforementioned message, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid to e-Visa.co.uk. You will receive this refund within approximately five business days, and in some cases, even the next business day. You receive this refund through the same payment method you used to complete the payment for your visa application.
Changing details e-visa or cancelling application
Are the details you entered into the online application form for a previous application no longer correct? Or do you have a new or different passport and are you using this new or different passport for your trip? A visa that was applied for with incorrect details is not valid. Additionally, an approved visa is only valid if all the information on it, such as your passport number, is correct. You can change or cancel your application only if it has not yet been processed, for example, because the documents you submitted were not judged to be correct.
Another situation in which changes or cancellations to applications submitted through e-Visa.co.uk are possible is when travellers do not depart within 30 days of submitting their application. To make sure that the visa is valid at the right time, these applications will be put on hold until 30 days before the indicated departure date and processed 30 days before this date. From the moment of approval, the Cambodia visa is valid for 90 days.
Reapply for the Cambodia visa
If you have received a new passport after your visa was issued, or if the visa you received is invalid because of a mistake in the application form, you have to apply for a new visa with the correct details. In this case, keep in mind that you can only apply for a new Cambodia visa if your previous application was completed and is no longer being processed.
